Dr Luis Miguel Rujana, is a board-certified anesthesiologist and pain management specialist.
Dr. Rujana is one of our top physicians at the Department of Pain Management at Hospital Angeles Tijuana.
Dr. Rujana helps patients to reduce or eliminate pain that occurs after surgery and prevent post-surgery pain from becoming a chronic or persistent syndrome. Dr. Rujana also cares for patients at Hospital Angeles Tijuana’s Pain Management Department, where he treats patients with chronic pain, including cancer pain, chronic neck and low back pain, neuropathic pain syndromes and complex regional pain syndrome.
In addition, Dr. Rujana, provides end-of-life medical palliative care services and treatment to people who are living with, or affected by, serious or life-limiting illnesses.

Dr Luis Miguel Rujana earned a medical degree at Universidad Autónoma de Baja California (Autonomous University of Baja California) School of Medicine, from 1998 to 2003.
He completed a residency in anesthesiology at Hospital Universitario of the Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León, UANL, in 2006, followed by a fellowship in pain management at Centro Nacional de Capacitación para Terapia del Dolor y Cuidados Paliativos General Hospital of Mexico, UNAM, in 2009.
Dr. Luis Miguel Rujana is Certified by the prestigious Mexican Board of Anesthesiology and Certified in Pain Management by the National Training Center for Pain Medicine and Palliative Care.
